Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Engineering Consultant with our client in the financial Industry located in Addison, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Consult on or contribute to moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering Participate in large-scale planning related to software development deliverables Analyze and resolve moderately complex engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors Collaborate with internal client personnel and teams to meet project goals and timelines Leverage a solid understanding of engineering functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Required Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work, consulting, training, military experience, or education 5+ years of SQL experience Strong technical experience in database design, data analysis, and ETL development 2+ years of unit testing and code review experience in SAS Experience with QA and UAT processes Familiarity with Agile SDLC methodology Pay Range: $ 44 - 54 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
