Guidance Counseling Assistant A full time, year-round Guidance Counseling Assistant is needed to assist in the Guidance Office at St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School. This position is service-orientated, addressing the needs of Students and Parents, as well as Guidance Counselors and Teachers. Professional Competencies:

• Experience in a Guidance office is preferred
• Possesses proficient technology skills
• Experience in Naviance a plus
• Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills
• Effectively manages time and carefully (thoroughly) carries out oral and written directions
• Easily multi-tasks
• Accurately maintains clerical records
• Possesses an understanding of the adolescent and a desire to work with them

• Possesses a strong ability to work collaboratively with others
