Manufacturing Production Operator (Medical Device) – $22/hr – Acton, MA

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is currently hiring Manufacturing Production Operators on behalf of a leading client in the medical device manufacturing industry located in Acton, MA . This is a temporary assignment offering competitive pay and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality healthcare products.

Job Overview:

The Manufacturing Production Operator will be responsible for executing key manufacturing, quality, and safety processes to support the production of finished goods, including Personal Diabetes Manager (PDM) devices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely execute manufacturing tasks in alignment with production schedules.
• Perform electronic testing and configuration of mobile devices using fixtures, USB ports, and touchscreen inputs.
• Identify and report any discrepancies related to quality or safety.
• Follow all documentation, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements (FDA 21CFR, ISO 13485, cGMP).
• Handle light assembly tasks, unboxing, boxing, and inventory transactions.
• Accurately perform data entry and assist in inventory cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace suitable for medical device assembly.
• Support continuous improvement efforts using Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• May assist in receiving, shipping, and quality-related functions as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and understand written work instructions in English
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-driven production environment
• Ability to distinguish between red, green, and blue on electronic devices

Preferred:

• 2+ years of experience in a production or electronics test environment
• Prior experience in medical device manufacturing
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP systems
• Basic understanding of mobile device technology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
• Frequent standing, reaching above shoulder level, and working with small components
