As a Mid-level Retirement Income Specialist, you will ensure the financial security of our membership by assessing member's current retirement income needs, providing advice, and making the appropriate recommendations based on member needs. We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 5 days per week, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule after 6 months. This position can be based in one of the following locations: Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Responsibilities include receiving requests for advice from members through various channels, asking questions to discover key information and retirement events, documenting relevant information, uncovering and recognizing retirement events, developing and communicating appropriate retirement income strategies, providing advanced retirement planning advice, recommending relevant financial products and services, motivating members to take action on recommendations, educating membership on economic and industry trends, integrating risk management tools, conducting outbound calls, guiding less experienced team members, and ensuring risks are effectively managed in accordance with policies. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, maintenance of Life/Health license, FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses, ability to pass background check and meet regulatory requirements, 4 years of financial industry and/or sales experience, and various communication and analytical skills. Preferred qualifications include US military experience, 3+ years of direct Annuity Sales Experience, experience in an Inbound/Outbound Call Center, and Retirement Income Certified Professional Designation (RICP).
