Outside Sales Representative – Windows & Doors (DFW Market)

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth

Compensation: Base + Commission + Car Allowance | $100K–$350K+ OTE

Headquartered in Houston, we’ve been producing custom aluminum solutions since 1978 and proudly distribute brands like Sierra Pacific, LaCantina, and PlyGem. Our team serves top builders and architects across Texas from showrooms in Houston, Austin, and Dallas.

We’re growing fast in the Dallas–Fort Worth market—and we’re hiring a driven Outside Sales Representative to help us accelerate.

You’ll step into an established portfolio of high-touch custom builder accounts —and be expected to grow it fast. This is a chance to quickly scale to $3M+ in annual sales , with the potential to build a $5M–$8M book of business over time.

This isn’t a rigid, corporate training program—it’s a real-world, learn-on-the-go opportunity for experienced sellers who want autonomy, support, and serious earning potential.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of custom builders and architects in DFW
  • Prospect, cold-call, and close new business to increase market share
  • Collaborate with inside sales, estimating, and marketing teams
  • Own the sales cycle—from early design consult to final close and follow-through
  • Drive quote activity and track performance using CRM tools
  • Ensure builder satisfaction with proactive communication and clean execution

How Success Is Measured

  • Quote Volume – Are you working the market and creating demand?
  • Revenue Won – Are you converting those quotes into sales?
  • Builder Experience – Are your accounts happy, well-informed, and sticking with RAM?

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $50K target
    • Option for interim ramp-up pay of $75K–$100K annualized (for 3–6 months), depending on experience
  • Commissions
    • 5% on RAM-manufactured product sales
    • 10% of gross profit (material margin) on distributed product sales (typically averages ~3% of sale price)
  • Monthly car allowance
  • Top performers earn $250K–$350K annually

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in building materials
  • Experience working with custom homebuilders or high-end contractors
  • Excellent follow-up, quoting accuracy, and service mindset
  • Comfortable managing 25–40 active accounts while hunting new ones
  • Proficient with CRM tools and quoting systems
  • Valid driver’s license for regular local travel
