Job Description

We have immediate openings for Production Operators at a clean, food-grade, climate-controlled, union facility in Sandusky, Oh.

Production Operators are responsible for supporting day-to-day manufacturing and packaging operations. This includes operating machines, preparing ingredients, assembling products, inspecting finished goods, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a production setting.

Pay: $15/hr.
Hours: 6AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday

** Work schedules vary based on production demand, with weekly hours ranging from 8 to 40 hours per week. Flexibility and availability are important. **

Responsibilities:

• Work on the production line to assemble, inspect, and package finished goods
• Make and label boxes, pack products, and run boxes through tape machines
• Stack finish boxes on pallets for shipping
• Use industrial scales to weigh and measure ingredients
• Prepare and mix ingredients for food products such as icing
• Operate large industrial mixers and load icing into tubes
• Load pouches into packaging machine and inspect packaging for accuracy
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in a food grade environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• Prior production or food manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures
• Must be dependable with good attendnace
