Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Purchasing Assistant to work on-site with our client, Moog Inc. , a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components. This position supports the purchasing of materials, equipment, supplies, and services essential to advancing the company's manufacturing and supply chain goals. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with ERP/office systems knowledge who can contribute immediately to purchasing workflows. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
ResponsibilitiesProvide support for purchasing activities, ensuring alignment with the company's production and supply chain needs.
Perform data entry, record keeping, reporting, and supplier communications.
Maintain work processes and workflows tailored to purchasing requirements.
Assist with internal department audits and compliance activities.
Prepare and manage spreadsheets, reports, and purchasing-related documents.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Serve as a reliable backup for other purchasing functions as required.
At least 2 years of relevant full-time work experience, or recent graduate (within 1 year) from a 2- or 4-year program with directly relevant coursework.
Basic office skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
ERP or similar software experience (SAP experience preferred).
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
