Social Media Coordinator

Qualifications to be considered for this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of Professional experience as a Social Media Coordinator, Analyst, Manager, or Executive having posted on a brand
• Ability to work on-site for 3 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday) in Cambridge, MA

Our partner, a well-known University located in Cambridge, MA is looking for a Social Media Coordinator for their departments of study.   This is an exciting opportunity for an experience Social Media Coordinator to join a friendly and dynamic team. 

As a key member of the department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, and driving online presence.

Key Information:

• Pay range for this role is between $30-35/hour
• The schedule will begin with a Tuesday – Thursday 9a-5pm while the work ramps up. Then there will be an opportunity for this to go to Monday-Friday
• Tuesday-Thursday will be on-site in Cambridge, MA working with the Director of the department.  The Monday & Friday opportunity will be remote when necessary

Responsibilities:

• Post content on social media platforms, including crafting postings and taking photos at events
• Edit content on our department's website and ensure accuracy
• Assist with various projects across the department
• Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental goals

Preferred/Nice-to-have Skills:

• Technical proficiency with Drupal and/or Hootsuite and/or Wordpress
• Experience with content creation and conceptualization
• Knowledge/familiarity with social media analytics tools
