The Role:

The Staff Full Stack Software Engineer for Quality Issue and Incident Management is responsible for developing software applications that support Issue and Incident management processes, spanning from Design through Production.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with applications involving complex data requirements, providing solutions using industry-standard methodologies. You will write software based on detailed requirements and oversee development activities to ensure delivery of high-quality capabilities aligned with GMs objectives for Quality applications.

This role offers opportunities to advise, coach, and mentor software engineers, significantly impacting new applications and aiding in developing junior engineers. Your expertise in transitioning to cloud technologies like Azure will be crucial in transforming complex data and business logic into actionable insights.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

You should have demonstrated success in:

• Developing enterprise applications using Kubernetes/Docker, Quarkus, Java, Angular, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborating with teams to lead GMs transition to cloud technologies.
• Automating cloud infrastructure with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Leading cost optimization efforts, monitoring cloud environments, troubleshooting issues, and improving performance.
• Identifying and remediating software issues related to code quality, security, and configuration.
• Guiding and mentoring fellow engineers and team members.
• Navigating complex corporate environments to resolve project roadblocks.
• Understanding code quality analysis and remediation methods.
• Maintaining and debugging live systems.
• Implementing branching strategies and sharing expertise.
• Developing CI/CD pipelines with automated builds and deployments, including GitHub Actions.
• Communicating effectively in verbal and written forms.
• Documenting software solutions to meet GM standards.
• Maintaining compliance with GM standards and industry methodologies.
• Leading team culture, accountability, and demonstrating GM values.
